Athens Smartcare Urgent Care was drawn to Athens by the great vibrant community. Being Urgent Care, their goal is to be doctors when you need them. They have a walk in clinic that serves any need you have whether you have insurance or not, all at an affordable price. Smartcare supports affordable housing because they want people to be able to have something that they can call their own. “Having something to call your own is just an American Dream,” said executive director Parag Mehta, “and being the son of an immigrant owning a house is a big deal.” Smartcare enjoys serving the Athens community and being able to offer alternative care to both community members and students.
