Athens Area Habitat for Humanity is participating in many events this weekend and we want all of our supporters to know about it!

The UGA Homecoming Parade Friday November 4th from 6-7 pm. We have partnered with UGA Habitat for Humanity to build a float for this years parade. We will be tossing t-shirts, water bottles, candy, and more, so don’t miss the opportunity to collect your favorite Habitat memorabilia. The parade takes place in downtown Athens.

2nd Annual Charity Chili Cook-Off Saturday November 5th from 5:30-7:30 pm. The Athens Area Humane Society and PAWS of Athens are holding their annual chili cook-off at Terrapin Brewery. Habitat is one of the 18 local non-profits competing to $300 and the title of best chili. We need your vote so come join us this Saturday to warm up with our delicious chili and Terrapin beer!

Tickets are $20 for those 21 and older and $10 for under 21. They include chili tastings as well as the Terrapin beer tour. Go to AthensHumaneSociety.org to purchase tickets.

Athens Interiors Market for Habitat Sunday November 6th from 11am- 5pm. We have joined forces with A.I.M. in a charity partnership. Visit the Athens Interior Market during their annual open house this Sunday to purchase a raffle ticket and be entered to win a fabulous basket full of prizes. Basket themes include: “Night in the Classic City”, “Baby Bliss”, “Eat your Heart Out”, “A.I.M. for Humanity”, “I Love UGA”, and the “Treat Yourself Spa” basket.

Raffle Tickets are $5 and can be purchased at the Athens Interiors Market before or on the day of the open house. All raffle proceeds go towards Athens Habitat efforts.
