The third annual “Home Is Where The Heart Is” showcases handcrafted art from local artists that will be silently auctioned to benefit the Women Build Campaign. This year we have expanded the guidelines to allow artists to submit any medium that fits the theme “Home Is Where The Heart Is.” Bidding starts as low as $20 and features some of the area’s most celebrated artists. Proceeds benefit Athens Area Habitat for Humanity and the Athens Area Homeless Shelter. Registration is $15 per person if postmarked by 3/27, $20 after and on race day. Family rate $45 (pre-registration, by mail only). Want to support the Run/Walk but not run? Be a phantom runner for $20 (and receive a t-shirt).
