Today on 11/11/11 we stop to honor America's Veterans and celebrate their contributions to our country. Few have given more to our nation that the brave men and women who have served in our Armed Forces. Whether it is during times of peace or in times of war, they have protected our freedom. 

On this Veterans Day, Athens Area Habitat for Humanity joins you in honoring those who have served our country. Thank you veterans for all that you have done so that we may live the America Dream.

As we take time to thank all of our veterans, let us come together to remember, to express our gratitude to those who demonstrate what it is to be a hero, and to pledge ourselves to live in honor of their bravery.
