of 1000 Why just give a gift when you can change a life? For just $65 you can join other individuals to build a home for a family in need. Celebrate this holiday season by making a gift donation to the Committee of 1,000. The Committee of 1,000 is an opportunity to bring together individuals within the community to make a difference in the lives of a family in need. During the 2009 year, Athens Area Habitat will be placing a renewed emphasis on the Committee of 1,000. After reaching our goal of one thousand individuals joining their efforts to raise a full house sponsorship, we will begin construction on our first ever "Committee of 1,000 Home." When making a gift donation, please be sure to indicate the recipients name and address in special instructions.  |
