On Labor Day, Habitat would like to invite the community to participate in
the
Tri-Faith Trot 5k and Fun Run! Hosted by the Abraham Alliance, an interfaith coalition composed of members of Al-
Huda Islamic Center, Congregation Children of Israel, and
Milledge Avenue Baptist Church. The Alliance has steadfastly partnered with Habitat to build homes in the community, and Habitat is truly blessed by their efforts. The race will begin at
Milledge Avenue Baptist and end in Memorial Park. The 5k will start at 8 a.m. and the Fun Run at 9 a.m. Registration begins at 6:30 a.m. You can
pre-register at www.active.com or pick up the forms at the Athens Area Habitat Office. Registration is $20. So come out this weekend and get some exercise while supporting this noble cause.
