Homebanc, in partnership with the UGA Athletic Association, has sponsored sponsored the UGA Football team to come and assist Habitat for the month of June. Homebanc has always been a big supporter of Habitat, and we are pleased to have both volunteers from Homebanc and players on the football team helping us out all this month. Volunteers from both organizations came out bright and early Saturday morning to get to work on Susie Thomas' house, and the work progressed at an astounding rate given the heat. Small groups worked all over the house, from working on the roof right down to the foundations, setting steps and putting up vinyl siding. The football players and Homebanc volunteers didn't let the weather keep them from having one of the most productive Saturday's on record. Habitat would like to thank all of our volunteers for the good work on Saturday.
